The Metric Century (68 Miles, 4600' of climbing)Starting 7:00 - 8:0068 miles of rolling hills filled with wildflowers, vineyards and pastures. Starting from the Auburn Recreation Park, the Metric ride descends south through the Gold Rush towns of Newcastle, Penryn, and the Loomis Basin. It includes three rest stops and a well marked course including many of the favorite cycling roads in South Placer County. Your second rest stop will be at Dono dal Cielo Winery. Order wine and they will have it at the finish for you! Find out why Auburn and surrounding areas have some of the best cycling in Northern California. |

Family Fun Ride (3 Miles, 50' of climbing)Starting 11:00A ride for adults and kids over age 6 (they should be able to ride 3 miles). This ride will go thru the streets of Downtown and Old Town Auburn! It will be led by the Auburn Police Department and the Chief of Police, John Ruffcorn, with rolling street closures for safety. A great way to get the kids involved and to start them on their cycling career. Medals will be awarded to ride finishers compliments of Maki Heating and Air. | ![]() |

Barbeque Lunch by ACCEFStarting 11:00What better way to finish off a great cycling workout than with a barbeque lunch at the Auburn Recreation Park. The Auburn Community Cancer Endowment Fund team will be hosting the lunch (chicken or ribs) and provide plenty to eat and drink to rehydrate and recover those calories burned off in the hills. While you're there, check out the vendor booths with the latest cycling gear along with other festivities including live music, raffle prizes, kid's slide, and more. | ![]() |
Tricycle/Small Bike RideStarting 12:45Too young for two wheels? Then join in the fun and ride your favorite three wheeler. Or if you've just graduated to a beginner bike, our lunchtime (no fee) Tricycle/Small Bike Ride around the park is just for you. Ride along the NEW .7 mile bike trail in the Park. Medals will be awarded to ride finishers compliments of Maki Heating and Air. |
